National Super Alliance Presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga has revealed how Budalang'i lawmaker betrayed him.
Speaking in Busia on Sunday during a campaign rally, Odinga stated that he made efforts to ensure the lawmaker achieved the highest position in the political seen.
He said Ababu was a nobody until he lifted his hand and raised him to what he is.
"Who is Ababu, let him be wherever he is. He was a nobody but I lifted his hand and even offered him a ministerial position but later he turned his back on me," Raila said.
Odinga further said he does not regret that Ababu ditched his party but wishes him well.
Ababu fell out with Odinga last year after ditching the Orange Democratic Movement where he served as the secretary general.
He later joined the Labour Party of Kenya which has declared support for the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
