NASA leader Raila Odinga has once again reiterated that there will be no elections on Thursday.
Speaking this evening in Machakos where he addressed a crowd together with other leaders, Odinga said the
He further explained the absence of Kalonzo Musyoka, whom he said is away in Germany but has nonetheless sent his regards.
Kalonzo, who addressed the crowd over the phone, urged his supporters to stay away from the polls on Thursday, until their reforms are met.
“We looked at the field, and said no, it has all sorts of obstacles and is not fair at all. We said if this time round they steal, we will sort it out face on,” said Odinga.
He revisited the August polls which were bungled, saying they ‘caught Jubilee stealing’.
“We had set up a parallel centre, which they attacked three days to the polls, and they sent police officers and broke into our offices, they did not know we had another centre, and we caught them having stolen,” he added.
The coalition has maintained that the ground is not level, and the reforms that were supposed to be implemented before the polls have not been met yet.
“I want to ask Godec, was he not here last week when Chebukati said he will not be able to deliver a credible election? They can advise, but they cannot solve our problems, our problems can only be solved by us as Kenyans,” he added
“We understand that our names are still on the ballot papers, despite us writing a letter and informing them that we will not be participating…Shame on them!” he went on.
