NASA leader Raila Odinga made another allegation on why IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba decided to take a leave ahead of the presidential election.

Speaking in Nyamira on Monday, Raila said that Chiloba’s leave was meant to hoodwink NASA  to participate in Thursday’s elections.

Raila further alleged that IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba did not go on leave as reported.

He claimed that the embattled CEO reported to work on Monday as normal.

"Today (Monday) at exactly 7 am in the morning, Chiloba was in office, and he is still in office as we speak. We will not be treated as fools," Raila said.

Raila further welcomed the resignation of Roselyn Akombe as a commissioner of IEBC.

"Akombe feared for her life since she did not agree with what was happening at the Commission. She was threatened and she feared she would be killed the same way Chris Musando was killed, "he said.

NASA has vowed not to participate in the repeat polls stating that major reforms at IEBC had not been initiated.
