NASA leader Raila Odinga has faulted foreign envoys for allegedly interfering with Kenya's leadership.
Speaking on Sunday, Raila said that envoys were wrong to dictate leaders to Kenyans.
“We want to tell them in clear terms that Kenya is an independent country and the problems of Kenya will be solved by Kenyans themselves. They can only be, but observers,” said Mr. Odinga.
Raila was speaking at Kijiji in Langata when he visited victims of a recent fire tragedy in the area. The opposition who took a controversial 'oath' of office said that Europeans were not interested in the leadership, but own selfish interests.
“Their only interest is to do business at the behest of their countries. They are not interested in our democracy. Kenyans saw the role of the international observers on the 8 August and the kind of statement that they came up with,” said Raila.
He was accompanied by a Nasa MPs Simba Arati (Dagoretti North), TJ Kajwang (Ruaraka) and George Aladwa (Makadara).
