[Photo: ntv.co.ke]Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga 'underperformed' when he appeared for the presidential debate on Monday at the Catholic University of East Africa which President Uhuru Kenyatta snubbed.According to Miguna Miguna, a panellist during the debate, Raila failed to address many issues that Kenyans had expected him to come out clearly on."Raila performed the way I expected. Below par. There is nothing that he said that was extraordinary as far as I can see. In fact, I can say he underperformed," said Miguna who was Raila's adviser on coalition affairs during the Grand coalition government."For instance when he says that when he was Prime Minister his work was only to coordinate government, it is not true. His work was to coordinate the ministries including execution of all government functions which means the buck stopped with him on everything including the corruption that was witnessed then," Miguna added. He said that Raila also failed to tell Kenyans how we would address tribalism saying that he dodged the critical issue by saying that the vice is also in Europe. The fiery Miguna also noted that Raila had failed completely to show how he would address all the matters that he has been criticising Jubilee over.Almost all panellists seemed to agree with Miguna that Raila performed dismally as 'he failed to utilise the 90 debate minutes well to his maximum advantage'.
