Former prime minister Raila Odinga has expressed his disappointment foolowing the appointment of Education CS Fred Matiangi as the caretaker of the Interior docket after the demise of Joseph Nkaiserry.
He stated that the government barely waited for the late CS' body to be transferred to a funeral home before filling his position.
The NASA candidate also claimed that the outgoing government is doing things upside down and maintained that the most respectful thing would be to mourn the fallen CS before dishing out his slot
"What shocks me is that before they even sent messages of condolences they chose to appoint an acting Cs," the presidential aspirant said.
"The Jubilee government is allowed to appoint whoever they want to the docket. What we want to see is free and fair elections," he added.
