So tense was the meeting that NASA leader Raila Odinga reportedly ordered Muluka, a top strategist cum critic, who also doubles as ANC Secretary General, out of the room.

Instead, Raila is said to have only tolerated Sakwa Bunyasi to stand in for ANC along with James Orengo (ODM), Eseli Simiyu (Ford Kenya) and Johnstone Muthama for Wiper.

"He was not happy with Muluka and he immediately ordered him out of the meeting," said a source, who spoke in confidence.

He further said: "In fact, he insisted that nothing would take place until Muluka got out of the meeting."

In recent series of TV interviews, Muluka, a respected columnist, has often hit at Raila as a selfish politician who aims at getting political capital out of his NASA partners.

In his rejonder, Muluka said, media houses were out to taint his name without investigating the matter that dominated various social media platforms for the better part of Monday.
