NASA presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, has dismissed claims that his trip to Britain, is because he is afraid of participating in the upcoming fresh presidential election.

A section of Jubilee leaders, slammed Odinga, accusing him of planning to run away, in fear of the election, in the name of travelling to the United Kingdom.

However, Odinga has indicated that his trip to UK, will be a one day trip, and not a ten-days trip, as alleged by some Jubilee leaders.

Speaking to the press after meeting Opposition leaders from Kajiado County, Odinga said NASA was very ready for the fresh poll, and that he can not run away, from an election, which seeks to bring democracy to the peple of Kenya.

"I've just been invited to give a lecture in the US, in Washington, New York and in London, and because of what we are going through in this country, I have only chosen to hounour the invitation to give a lecture at Chatham House in London. And that lecture will be on Friday, this coming week. So it's just going to  be a one day trip and I'll be back here," said Odinga, Monday.
