ODM party leader Raila Odinga has assured Kenyans that Gusii region remains to be ODM party stronghold.
Speaking on Monday at Ufanisi Hotel during a meeting with ODM party delegates, Odinga said gusii votes remains intact in his favor.
“I know that Gusii region remains to be ODM stronghold. Let every person with a national ID to register as a voter and vote in August,"he said.
He also urged Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission [IEBC] to audit voters register to remove ghost voters a head of next general election.
"IEBC should do their work transparently and audit the register to be ready in conducting free and fair election across the country," said Odinga
His sentiments were echoed by Kisii County governor James Ongwae who assured Odinga that he will pour resources to ensure ODM wins in August.
