Speaking at a Nairobi hotel after he launched his memoir- Against all Odds- Kalonzo said victory was stolen from the ODM party leader as he had defeated President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The former Vice President also accused the Head of State of having a hand in rigging out the former Prime Minister during the disputed 2007 presidential poll.

"I did wrong to join Kibaki in 2007 and the same team repeated the stealing in 2013 after my good friend Raila Amollo Odinga won," said Kalonzo.

He asked the president to stop the culture of stealing elections in the country, saying efforts being made by Jubilee to amend the election laws are an indication that they intend to rig next year's polls.

“Elections are stolen because a few people don’t accept the will of the people. The more they steal, the more we will see our resources swindled by those in power,” said the Cord co-principal. Kalonzo was Raila's running mate under Cord coalition during 2013 general election.
