Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has disparaged Cord leader Raila Odinga over his claims that Jubilee government has failed to deliver its development mandate.
Kuria says that Cord leader has no moral authority to speak of development adding that former Prime Minister failed to deliver when he was in government.
The vocal MP claims that Raila has lacked strategies to use to woo voters and instead is engaging in smear campaigns meant to negatively criticize President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government.
“Raila should tell Kenyans what he did for them when he was in government and stop criticising the Jubilee government,” he during an interview on NTV on Thursday.
The MP said that Jubilee government has transformed the country since being elected office in 2013.
He added that the Uhuru Kenyatta government has done what the three previous governments fail to do.
Kuria said that with the official launch of Jubilee Party slated for this weekend, the Jubilee government will be voted back come 2017.
“Kenyans are happy with President Uhuru’s government and will definitely vote it back because the opposition has no alternative leadership,” he added.
Kuria also hit out at Raila for likening Jubilee Party to an old monkey in a new forest.
He said that Raila is worried because he has no chance of winning in 2017.
Raila during his tour of the Western region that ends today has been criticizing the Uhuru government for failing to deliver.
The former Prime Minister claimed that the government had achieved nothing since 2013.
He claimed that the projects the Jubilee government is claiming to be initiating were started by the Coalition government.
