Cord leader Raila Odinga has hinted at another graft scandal where the government allegedly fleeced Kenyans Sh162 billion in conjunction with a Swiss firm.
Speaking in West Ugenya at the funeral of Mama Joyce Aol (mother to veteran journalist David Ohito), Raila said that a firm named SKIP has defrauded Kenyans of billions of shillings in revenue collected on imported goods.
The ODM leader said that the firm (allegedly mandated to check on the import of counterfeit commodities) was currently being probed by the Brazilian government over scandalous deals that purportedly caused the impeachment of the country's president.
He added that the operations of Skip in the country were suspect and indicated another major scandal waiting to hit the country.

On his part, nominated MP Oburu Odinga supported Raila's fears and said that it was suspect the government had mandated a foreign firm to carry out duties that could be done by local authorities like Kenya Counterfeit Forensic Authority (KCFA) and the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS).
The leaders further accused the government of trying every means to hide the signs of the scandal and doctoring documents to clean the image of the company.
In attendance was Raila's wife Mama Ida Odinga, Siaya governor Cornel Rasanga, Senator James Orengo, MPs Opiyo Wandayi and David Ochieng, Police Spokesman Charles Owino among others.
Kenyans have in the recent condemned the acts of corruption shrouding the government, with majority turning to social media to castigate the crime.
However, they seem to have accepted the rot as nobody has moved to court to question the officers implicated in the graft cases.
