NASA leader Raila Odinga has told Deputy President William Ruto that he will need him to become the president in 2022.
Speaking in Kericho on Thursday, the Opposition chief said that Ruto needs his influence if he is to capture the top seat.
"Does Ruto think he can be a president without Raila? I can help him get there if he wants," Raila said.
Raila was attending the burial of Orange Democratic Movement chairman for Kipkelion East William Koech.
The leader seemed in a campaign mood where he asked the Kalenjin community to work with him like they did in 2007.
He also revisited the 2017 elections and claimed that he was rigged out.
"Uhuru knows well that he did not beat me. And I am not a mad man not to know when I have been beaten or not," said the Nasa leader.
