National Super Alliance(NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga has been hit with an ultimatum of four days to declare whether he will take part in the October 26th fresh election or not.
According to Tuko.co.ke, Odinga has until October 9, to make it clear on whether he will be part of the rerun or not.
This is after the opposition said on several occasions that they will not take part in the exercise following the nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win by the Supreme Court. Earlier on, Raila had maintained that the journey to liberate this nation from poor governance will not stop.
"Our journey to Canaan is on and almost complete. Of the team that left Egypt for Canaan, only Joshua and Caleb were able to cross to the Promised Land. Many others fell by the wayside. So don’t worry about defectors. Ask yourself whether Joshua and Caleb are with you and if they are willing to take you to the promised land," he said, as quoted by Tuko.co.ke.
On his part, Uhuru has dare Raila to boycott the fresh polls after hinting on the same. If the opposition leader makes good his threat the nation is likely to suffer from an election crisis.
