Opposition leader Raila Odinga was conspicuously absent from a presser at Kalonzo Musyoka's house conducted by other NASA principals.
Pundits and members of Raila Odinga's closely-knit inner circle have intimated that the conspicuous absence was an expression of the NASA supremo's utter disappointment with Kalonzo's failure to show up during Tuesday's swearing-in ceremony, a way of hitting back.
Earlier in the day, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi had assured the public that Raila Odinga would show up later for a NASA leader's presser aimed to demonstrate solidarity with Musyoka after a stun grenade attack.''Raila is hitting back.
It is a way of showing how disappointed he is with what Kalonzo did to us on Tuesday,'' an ODM official not authorised to speak to the media said on condition of anonymity.
The absence is a litmus test of the unity of the opposition NASA outfit.
