The National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga has accused the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) of working with Jubilee to rig next month general election.

Raila accused NCIC of mapping out violence hot spots in the country as a ploy to assist Jubilee steal votes.

The former Prime Minister said most of the twenty counties marked as trouble spots counties by the Francis Ole Kaparo-led commission are NASA strongholds.

“We know that it is a ploy to take many security forces to the NASA strongholds on voting day so as to intimidate our supporters not to vote," said Raila during a campaign rally in Kericho County, Thursday.

The opposition leader said police should not be used to prevent Kenyans from exercising their democratic right of voting and asked NCIC chair to come out clear on his role during the August 8 polls.

“We want to ask Kaparo whether he is a Jubilee servant or in that position to serve all Kenyans,” the ODM leader stated.

The counties marked as 'problematic' are Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Nakuru, Eldoret, Narok, Kericho, Kisii, Homabay, Isiolo, Turkana, Bungoma, Kiambu, Kilifi, Lamu, Migori, Baringo and Pokot.
