Opposition leader Raila Odinga says he is not in war with Jubilee government adding that he is fulfilling his constitutional duties.

The Former Premier has locked horns with the government, accusing it of massive corruption and maladministration.

Speaking in Kakamega on Friday, Odinga said he was keen to ensure proper checks and balances, a responsibility bestowed upon government.

“I am not in war with Jubilee and people think. I am fulfilling my constitutional mandate as leader of opposition. We are entitled to question suspicious spending of the day’s government,” he said.

“Those who think we will give up should forget about it. I will continue fighting for the rights of ordinary people whether they agree with me or not,” he added.

Raila has been critical of Jubilee government, unearthing several corruption scandals among the m loss of Sh791m from NYS.
