Cord leader Raila Odinga has said he will not cease exposing corruption cartels in the Jubilee administration.

According to the Standard, Raila said he will continue seeking transparency and accountability despite the tirade of criticism from Jubilee which he stated are aimed at tarnishing his name.

“I will not be cowed into relenting against condemning vices such as corruption that have polluted the country. It is my duty to raise such concerns,” Raila said as quoted by the Standard.

He made the remarks on Saturday during the burial of former Kanu official Sarah Jemutai Saina, also attended by Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago among other leaders.

He said his focus now is politics of environmental protection adding that the country cannot be turned into a desert as he watches, adding that the country will pay dearly for neglecting environmental issues. 

The former prime minister further noted that corruption was the main reason for projects that are risky to future of the country.

“I have said often that corruption has led to projects that will ultimately destroy our future. We shall pay for neglecting environmental issues. I will not be quiet where such issues are evident,” he said on Saturday.
