A charged NASA leader Raila Odinga on Friday warned Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana against 'inciting' Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka on planned swearing-in.
For weeks now, Kalonzo has been holding a moderate view of swearing-in and has asked Raila to embrace dialogue.
"Uhuru Kenyatta's must know that time is going. He must reach Raila for talks as soon as possible," he said at Mombasa on Sunday.
But on Friday, Raila questioned Kibwana's continued focus on 2022, arguing that the issue of 2017 is still not yet over.
"With respect, I want to urge Kibwana not to give pressure to Kalonzo. This is not the right time to talk about 2022.
"Let us first deal with 2017 stolen victory and when that times, we shall support Kalonzo. Kindly let us not bring unnecessary debate," he said.
Even with controversy on 2017 polls, Wiper faction has been strategising on 2022 politics with Kalonzo's lieutenants keen to have Raila's support.
