ODM party leader Raila Odinga has once again taken on the Jubilee government saying its main agenda is "to steal public funds and rendering Kenyans poor."
Raila who spoke Tuesday during an impromptu tour of the Coastal region, said it was now time to save Kenyans from the hands of Jubilee.
"We have said that Jubilee must stop their corrupt ways. Jubilee's other name is basically corruption, their main agenda is to loot from Kenyans," Raila said.
He claimed the launch of the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) was a ploy by the government to loot public funds.
“They have now brought something called IFMIS which they are using to steal. That is why we are telling Jubilee to keep off corruption because it has now become their other name,” he said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
The former premier accused Jubilee of being involved in corruption after corruption scandals.
He told Mombasa residents that he was on a tour of the coastal region to preach against the vice that has rocked the nation.
"It was NYS, then the Ministry of Health and now it is the IFMIS. I have come to Mombasa to preach against corruption in the Jubilee administration, I want to tell them that their days are numbered," added Raila who is on four-day tour of the coastal region.
