NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga during past event [Photo/the-star.co.ke]Opposition leader Raila Odinga has urged Kenyans not to vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta in the forthcoming August 8th general elections.According to the NASA presidential candidate, President Kenyatta has failed to steer the country's economy in the right direction and should not be re-elected for a second term.Speaking in Meru County on Saturday, Raila urged residents to back him for president in August polls, pledging to revive the economy and end theft of public resources."We are asking you to support NASA so that we can cross River Jordan, en route to Canaan," Raila said.The former Prime Minister added: "We have a solution for the high cost of living, Kenyans cannot access maize flour which is a stable food."Raila branded both President Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto a huge let down to Kenyans and accused them of reneging on their 2013 election pledges."We will expedite the construction of different roads in this region because Jubilee is not keen on ensuring that it completes the different projects it promised," he said as quoted by Citizen Digital.The ODM party leader said that the Jubilee administration was marred in corruption scandals, pledging that his government would ensure that state resources are not misappropriated."Kenyans have lost billions of their taxes under Jubilee's watch in Eurobond, NYS and Afya House scandals. NASA will ensure all this money is returned," Raila stated.He further promised that NASA will roll out free secondary school education from September and enhance security in the country in the event it rises to power in August.
