Opposition Chief Raila Odinga is confident of defeating president Uhuru Kenyatta in the fresh presidential election slated for October 26.
Speaking during a campaign rally in Bondo in Siaya County, Raila said he had more supporters across the country than Uhuru and therefore the Jubilee Party candidate should prepare to vacate office next month.
"This is why I was telling Uhuru the other day that I am his senior in politics and age and he should respect me. We have the numbers and the goodwill. We will beat him in a free and fair election," he said, as quoted by Sunday Standard.
The former Prime Minister reiterated that there will be no election if IEBC does not meet NASA demands termed 'irreducible minimums'.
"We are sending a clear message to IEBC and Jubilee that we are not going to boycott the repeat elections. It will not just happen without reforms. This is not negotiable," Raila was further quoted by the local daily.
