NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has assured his supporters that he will implement the Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission (TJRC) report if he ascends to power in August.

Raila, a former prime minister, noted that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto have shown clearly that they are not ready to fight historical injustices as we head to the polls.

“The Jubilee administration is not willing to address historical land injustices meted against certain communities like the Taitas and Tavetas. It is only a NASA government that will address land reforms to ensure that all squatters are given land to improve their well being,” Raila said during a rally in Taveta town.

Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo  Musyoka on his part asked the Independent Electoral and Boundaries (IEBC) to investigate President Kenyatta and other leaders aligned to Jubilee for allegedly using state resource during campaigns.

“They are committing an election offense and IEBC should take action against them,” Kalonzo said.

The failure to implement the report has continued to elicit mixed reactions from opposition leaders.

Raila and Uhuru have intensified their campaigns as the race to  State House becomes tougher.
