NASA Presidential torchbearer Raila Amolo Odinga has exuded confidence that he will beat President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto in the forthcoming general elections.

Addressing Jubilant supporters at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega,  Raila said that the opposition has the numbers to send the two leaders home in August.

“We have looked at the numbers in all ways and would like to assure Kenyans that we will win. We need you to be vigilant and ensure that we take Jubilee home,” he said, as quoted by Capital FM.

The former prime minister, who will be contesting for the Presidency for the fourth time, also called upon the residents of this region to support his presidency, arguing that he will improve their welfare if he is elected.

“I am urging all supporters to come out in large numbers and vote so that we can take the Jubilee team home,” he added.

Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, for his part, said that the Cord leader is the only person that can correct the mistakes made by the past regimes, adding that he deserves the seat.

“The only hope for Kenya is NASA, we are already catching up with Jubilee according to the recent polls, let’s allow Raila Odinga to take is to Canaan,” said Kalonzo.
