ODM party leader Raila Odinga has said he has what it takes to lead the country in the right direction and save it from what he termed 'the corrupt Jubilee government.'
The opposition leader said he has both the experience of being a youth and now old and thus understands the needs of the youths better.
"I have been around a long time, I have been a youth before and now I am older and a wiser person," he said.
"I have seen the best of both worlds. The difference between the youth and the old is that the old have been youths before and the youths have never been old. That is what we call experience," he added.
Raila made the remarks during his tour to Nyamira on Friday last week where he addressed a youth forum organised by the county government, dubbed Kikao 046.
"We want to take the future of this country in our hands and re-evaluate our choices so that we can have a better future. This is an opportunity for you to be heard, to give the youth the opportunity to make suggestions on how their issues can be solved because no one has the monopoly to answer to our problems," the former prime minister noted.
