ODM party leader Raila Odinga appeared at the Milimani Law Courts on Monday, in solidarity with his MP Babu Owino (Embakasi East).
Owino is defending his August 8, 2017 election, following a petition by his opponent Jubilee Party's Mbugua Mureithi, who wants a scrutiny and recount of all the votes cast in the constituency.
He argues that the parliamentary election was marred by electoral malpractice such as voter bribery and violence.
All the parties already produced their witnesses in court even as Owino accuses Mureithi of using government forces to influence the outcome of the petition.
After leaving the court room, Odinga said he had arrived at the buildings to listen to the proceedings of the case.
National Assembly Minority Whip, Suna East MP Junet Mohammed was also present.
