A section of Kisii residents allied to National Super Alliance has come out strongly to condemn Raila Odinga's decision to reject plans to swear him in as the 'people's president.
According to some of those interviewed the decision he took was unacceptable and they may change their support for Jubilee as he has failed to keep his promise.
Dennis Kiangoi a resident in Mosocho said the move clearly shows Jubilee government have overpowered Odinga and its high time he bows out of the political arena.
"We are so much frustrated with Raila's move as we were prepared to have him as people's president and if he won't deliver let him resign and retire from active politics," said Kiangoi. Another supporter from Kisii town Hellen Nyanchama accused Raila of “cowardice”.
"We were psychologically prepared that Raila Odinga is the people's president but we're now frustrated by his recent move," said Nyanchama.
