Cord leader Raila Odinga has began a two-day tour of Kilifi County with other senior coalition leaders.
Odinga arrived in Malindi together with other party leaders including Senators James Orengo (Siaya), Johnstone Muthama (Machakos), and Busia County woman rep Florence Mutua.
The tour is first homecoming ceremony for the Pangani Six and Muthaiga Two who were held for four days in police custody over making hate remarks.
Kilifi woman rep Aisha Jumwa who was one of the detainees is the first to celebrate the colourful homecoming after spending four days in detention.
However, missing at the airport was the host legislator Willy Mtengo who is believed to be bitter after he was reportedly not involved in the Cord leader's tour.
The excited Cord principal took time to greet supporters who had jammed the entrance of Malindi airport.
Odinga termed the politicians detained as heroes and heroines who survived in police cells following the government plans to frustrate them.
