Njomo claims that the heckling of Deputy President William Ruto in Bungoma and Narok recently was orchestrated by the opposition.

He alleges that the opposition is preparing their supporters for violence.

Speaking to journalists in Kiambu town on Tuesday, the MP said, “It I clear that opposition is not interested in contributing to peaceful general elections and wants to cause violence."

Njomo stated that every leader and politician and also Kenyan has a right to go campaign in any part of the country without being heckled and intimidated.

The Kiambu Town MP urged opposition leaders to tame their supports and allow everyone to sell their political agenda without intimidation.

On Monday, DP Ruto received a hostile reception during a voter sensitisation drive in Bungoma.

Angry youths chanting ant-Jubilee slogans in Bungoma town forced DP Ruto to change route during a tour of the county.

The DP also faced similar hostile reception during a rally in Narok town last week.

Political analysts warn that such ugly incidents are a recipe for chaos if they will not be condemned and tamed by politicians across the political divide.
