Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has claimed that investigations by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) on the internal audit of the health sector is meant to cover up the discovered corruption.
Speaking to the press on Friday, Raila said that nothing was bound to come out of the investigation.
"Nothing is going to come out of the so-called investigation that is going on currently. If anything, they are meant to cover it up," Raila said.
The former PM also insisted that the internal audit report is a final report that should be acted on.
"The Cabinet Secretary is saying that it is incomplete and the mentioned people should be given a chance to respond, " he said. "The government is telling you that they are still investigating people at Kenyatta hospital, that is rubbish," he added.
