The legislator claims that the former Prime Minister is a beneficiary of Sh1.6 billion National Youth Service (NYS) scandal.

This follows after his close ally and Suna East MP Junet Mohammed, who is also ODM Director for Elections, was linked to the NYS loot.

“There is evidence that Odinga has been doing his best to pass the NYS buck to the Presidency whereas in fact , he is a perpetrator, accomplice , beneficiary and condoner of the heist, ” said Ichung'wa.

The Jubilee MP said the opposition leader should stop the 'endless drama and propaganda on corruption' but come clear and explain to Kenyans what he knows about the scam.

“Odinga must now honour Kenyans with a little respectful honesty , look them in the eye and confess that he has been taking them on a ride. He must admit that his loud protestations about corruption are nothing but distractions and cover-ups to protect the web of kleptomaniacs who serve him and his political organisation," added the MP.

Recently, the CORD co-principal urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to fire DP Ruto after his aide Farouk Kibet and his close ally Senator Kipchumba Murkomen were linked to the scandal.
