Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi as lashed out at the National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga for being dishonest with his unity pact he signed with President Uhuru Kenyatta in March.
The vocal Jubilee MP who largely spoke in the Swahili language on Sunday during a fundraising event at Kaptinga Primary school in Uasin Gishu county termed Odinga as a 'mzee wa kitendawili' and a 'conman' who only harbours ill motives rather than good."Mimi nataka nikuambie wewe Raila, kama ulikuwa unakuja na salamu ya ukweli, ungemaliza na Uhuru Kenyatta, utafute William Ruto, Mudavadi na Kalonzo, na ungesanya hao wote ukienda kwa salamu," said Sudi loosely translated to, 'I want to tell Raila, if you were honest about the handshake, you should have also invited William Ruto, Mudavadi and Kalonzo'.The two time MP who has been in the forefront championing for Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid, further challenged the opposition chief to declare publicly his interest noting that they already know he will be on the ballot in 2022."Nataka nikwambie mzee wa kitendawili, kama unataka kusimama 2022, na tunajua utasimama, wacha kuja kutuzungusha hapa na fitina na salamu haina maana. You are a conman)," he said. Sudi was accompanied by among other leaders, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and former Nairobi Governor aspirant Peter Kenneth.
