Kitui South MP Rachel Nyamai has launched a scathing attack on NASA leader Raila Odinga and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka claiming g that the two are ‘spent cartridges’ and cannot beat President Uhuru Kenyatta in the repeat presidential election.

The Jubilee MP claims  that Raila and Kalonzo are politically ‘tired’ and should quit politics.

Addressing residents in Kitui Town on Tuesday, Nyamai said that NASA leaders have no agenda for Kenyans  apart from their endless empty rhetoric.

“I want to advise Raila and Kalonzo to quit politics because they are no longer relevant,” she said as quoted by the Daily Nation.

Nyamai said that the country needs young and energetic leaders who will push development agenda forward and not the likes of Raila Odinga.

“We appreciate the work done by Odinga in terms of fighting for democracy which we enjoy now but he should know that his time in politics is up and hang up his ‘boots’,” she said.

Nyamai said that Raila’s previous unsuccessful attempts on presidency is a clear indication that he was not ordained to become the country’s president.

The Jubilee MP asked Odinga and Kalonzo to concede defeat once if they are beaten in the October 17 repeat presidential poll.

The MP said that NASA has no chance of winning the repeat election, adding that numbers do not favour them (NASA).

Nyamai is among Ukambani politicians who ditched Wiper Party and joined President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party.

Nyamai won re-election on Jubilee party ticket in the recently concluded polls and has vowed to deliver Kamba votes to Uhuru in the repeat presidential polls.
