Nasa flag bearer Raila Odinga attempt to sell himself as Kenya's only saviour has backfired big time, political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has claimed.
Ngunyi has said that Raila is a 'tired idea' and calling himself Joshua has not worked at all but has proved disastrous.
"In my view, the Joshua imagery is unbelievable and the more Raila has tried to sell it, the more we have rejected him as Joshua. We are not even sure of his faith.
"And the question here is simple; can Raila be Joshua and at the same time be accused of doing witchcraft? Is it possible for Joshua to have been accused of witchcraft? Not possible. In my view, this Joshua narrative is officially dead and if Raila persues it, it will be the light that exposes his dark side," says Ngunyi in this week's hypothesis available on his Fifth Estate YouTube channel.
Ngunyi has advised Raila to drop 'this Joshua nonsense or be exposed'.
The analyst also predicts that the August 8 General elections will result to the formation of a grand coalition government which Raila may not be part of.
"A grand coalition will happen at zero option and the myth about it is that a coalition equals Raila. This is a big fat lie. In my view, a coalition will happen with or without Raila and this is why the Kamba nation has rejected Raila with his Joshua hallucinations. If rejection of Joshua is picked by other tribes, this election could just become an anti-Raila crusade. Then again I could just be right," adds Ngunyi.Photo/
