NASA leader Raila Odinga will be committing political suicide if he goes on to swear himself in as president on December 12, 2017, former Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung'aro has said.Mung'aro, who ditched ODM for Jubilee party said Raila will easily taint his image as the campaigner for democracy once he takes the oath as president.Speaking to journalists in Malindi Town on Monday, the former MP said the constitution does not recognise Raila as president, adding that and that the former Prime Minister wants to bite off more than he can chew.Munga’aro said Raila's swearing-in will not change anything as Uhuru Kenyatta will remain the duly and legitimately elected president of the Republic of Kenya."Raila Odinga should stop the swearing-in if he wants to maintain his image as the crusader of democracy and principles of good governance," he said.The former MP asked Raila to utilise the right channels in his push for reforms and stop using tactics that will see him regret later.Raila has maintained that he will be sworn-in as president by the people’s assembly on December 12, 2017.The NASA leader has said he does not recognise President Uhuru Kenyatta's government.The opposition has already sent out invites to people expected to attend the event whose venue remains top secret.
