North Mugirango Member of Parliament Vincent Kemosi has said that the Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga is confused.
This he said was because he was busy holding meetings that would not by anyway assist him to clinch the presidency in 2022.
He dismissed the meeting that was held by Mr Odinga and retired President Daniel Moi saying that the latter will not help him win the presidency.
"It is unfortunate that Raila is seeking support from people who will not help him in 2022. Raila’s old age is to blame for his confusion. Let him accept and retire from active politics because he will be given good pension by the current government,” he said.
He asked NASA co-principals not to allow Mr Odinga to run for the presidency but instead decide to support one of their own.
“Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula should not sleep to allow the old leader to vie for the country’s top seat in 2022. It is time opposition leaders who have not attained retirement age to stand firm and ensure the opposition outfit is strong ahead of 2022 elections,” he noted.
According to Kemosi, ODM party is free to go it alone in 2022 but will lose terribly.
