Angry Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery now wants opposition leader Raila Odinga to rig August elections so that he can desist from 'crying foul' all times.

Nkaissery further insists that Odinga, who has had three unsuccessful attempts to clinch presidency, will not win an election in the near future.

Odinga has been critical of Jubilee administration and last week, he accused the government of using spy agencies to rig elections in advance.

"He keeps on crying that elections have been stolen and I wonder why he can't rig. He should also rig if that can help him win this year," said Nkaissery.

He added: "We are tired with this sideshows that elections will be rigged. I am sure he can't win even though he rigs."

Nkaissery is a former ally of Mr. Odinga before he was pouched by Jubilee government in 2014 to head the security docket.

The former Kajiado Central MP is not a stranger to controversy given that last week, he was quoted warning chiefs from opposition strongholds against mobilising locals  to register as voters.
