NASA leader Raila Odinga’s declaration that their alliance will now transform into a resistance movement is an empty threat.

This is according to Nyandarua governor Francis Kimemia.

Kimemia said that as an authority in the security information  of the country, Raila's words cannot  go anywhere near posing a threat to the country.

“As a person who has been in charge of security, I know our country is stable and threats will not work,” he said.

Kimemia was speaking at Nyandundo Primary School, Mirangine, after casting his vote in the repeat presidential election.

He said that every Kenyan wants peace and that nobody will ever appeal for violence.

“Even in Nyanza, if you ask the youth what they want, it is peace and jobs, not violence,” he said, adding that the IEBC must expedite vote counting so that President Uhuru Kenyatta is sworn in.
