Kiambu senator Kimani Wamatangi has hit out at Cord leader Raila Odinga’s claims that Jubilee government is using land title deeds to woe for votes ahead of next year’s election.

Wamatangi has termed Raila’s claims as misplaced stating that the opposition leader is envious of Jubilee government development progress.

Speaking at Gathanga Trading Centre in Kiambaa constituency on Saturday, Wamatangi said that Raila has nothing else to talk about and wants to drag the government in propaganda.

“Claims by Raila that Jubilee is issue land titles to woe for voters are misplaced,” he said.

The senator said that it is the responsibility of the government to issue out titles to genuine land owners across the country.

The Kiambu senator asked opposition leaders to engage in constructive politics.

On Friday Raila accused Jubilee government of allegedly bribing voters with land titles.

Raila during a rally at Ukunda claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta was using land titles to woe Kenyans to support him in 2017.

He also accused the Uhuru government of failing to address land injustices at the Coastal region.
