Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has said that Raila will be Kenya's fifth president and that he will win by a resounding victory on 8th August elections.
"Raila has been and remains the foremost opposition presidential contender: He will deliver a resounding victory at the August 8 General Election," he said.
Despite most pollsters registering that ODM party leader Raila Odinga will be defeated in the August elections, Bosire has rubbished all those polls saying that they have been proven a failure even in America's presidential race where US President-elect Donald Trump won against the much hyped Hillary Clinton.
"Pollsters have gotten it wrong many times, and this year the former Prime Minister will defy all odds to become Kenya’s Fifth President," he said.
"The recent historic US Presidential election results showed that whatever the opinion results, whether correct or cooked, they don’t have a true, clear bearing on the actual results of an election," he added.
The first time legislator also made quite some costly political utterances when he dismissed other aspirants waring up for NASA's presidential flagbearer ticket by stating that Raila is the best candidate to topple President Uhuru Kenyatta from power.
"If one had to look at each one of them separately, you would appreciate that Raila has been there longer than anyone else in the opposition and consistently so; with a clear vision, a clear design focussed on the leadership of this country, the development of this country," he said.
"Kalonzo did not originate the design for the purpose of laying the foundation of the opposition, but rather came in as a contributor," he added.
"Musalia Mudavadi has been both in government and in the Opposition, just like Kalonzo," said Bosire.
"Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula, it has been a case of being in government and in the opposition as the opportunity arose. The opposition may not have been basically his orientation in trying to transform this country. It had to do with opportunity as and when it was available," Bosire added.
Bosire said this in an opinion peace that was published by The Star.
Political drums are set to sound in their highest decibels as nominations and political realignments are set to take center stage in the next few months toward August elections.
