Mboko termed Duale’s claims as malicious, adding that he should provide evidence to investigative agencies instead of maligning Raila’s name.

“Duale should know that Raila Odinga is not in his league and should stop maligning his name with malicious claims,” she told journalists in Nairobi on Thursday.

Mboko said Duale’s claims are out of order and they (Cord) will not allow him to disrespect their leader.

Other opposition MPs led by Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi asked Duale to stop discussing Raila.

“Raila Odinga is not your mate and we will not allow you (Duale) to malign his name with cheap malicious allegations,” said Wandayi during a press briefing at Parliament Building in Nairobi on Thursday.

The MP said the only person who can engage Raila in the Jubilee camp is President Uhuru Kenyatta.

On Wednesday, Duale claimed that some counties led by Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) governors fund Raila’s activities.

The Garissa Town MP said he has receipts and air tickets to show some counties are funding Raila’s foreign trips and accommodation services.

He accused Raila of double speak on corruption, and threatened to expose the said counties.
