Addressing journalists on Monday in Nairobi, the vocal Jubilee stalwart said that Raila gives little regard to constitutional order and is used to 'shortcuts'.

"We know very well you have an endless thirst for power since the failed 1982 coup. You don't like following the constitution which is why you wanted to use the backdoor to rise to power," said Kamanda.

He added: "Every time we have an election you have to cry foul claiming you were rigged out. Are you the only one who is always rigged out?"

Kamanda also asked elected leaders participating in anti-IEBC protests to do the 'logical' thing and resign. "I'm telling those MPs participating in those protests to resign because it is the only logical thing to do having been elected under this IEBC they are protesting against," he said.

At the same time, TNA party Secretary General Onyango Oloo asked Cord leaders to shelve their 'selfish' interests and respect the institutions created by the constitution.

"As TNA party we have no interest in protecting IEBC, but we are saying we cannot disband our institutions at the whim and wishes of individuals who are after satisfying their own selfish interests. We must respect our constitution and the rule of law," Oloo said.
