National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale has accused the National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate Raila Odinga of being a coup plotter and a conman.
Duale further insisted that Raila is neither a reformer nor a liberator as he claims to be.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Garissa Township MP alleged the Opposition leader associates with money launderers at night.
“Odinga is a known coup plotter, a law breaker and the biggest conman masquerading as a reformist. Odinga claims to be a reformer, a liberator and a leader by day, but at night consorts with money launderers, extortionists, looters, racketeers and criminal elements,” said Duale.
Duale remarks came shortly after the former prime minister claimed President Uhuru Kenyatta is planning to reject the August 8 poll results.
The Jubilee legislator expressed confidence that Jubilee will win the elections and asked the Nasa flag bearer to prepare to concede defeat. He added that the ODM chief is looking forward to have a grand coalition government.
“He should be prepared to accept defeat since he has failed to tell Kenyans that he will. We do not fear Odinga. We do not. The endless cases blocking IEBC to perform its duty is clear as day that Odinga wants a Nusu Mukate government,” Duale added.
