Makueni governor Professor Kivutha Kibwana has said that NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga is the president in waiting.

According to Kibwana, there is nothing that will prevent Raila from ascending to power on August 8.

Speaking at Mutyambua shopping center in Makueni on Thursday, Kibwana stated that Raila’s presidential bid is unstoppable.

He noted that Kenyans have great confidence in Raila and will endorse his bid on August 8 polls.

“Raila Odinga is only waiting to be sworn in on August 8 because he has already won the polls basing on the numbers he has,” Kibwana said as quoted by the People Daily.

The Makueni county boss asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to concede defeat on August 8.

He said that Uhuru should be ready to hand over power to NASA adding that a Raila government will champion fairness and equality.

Kibwana said that Jubilee’s rule has undermined the rights and freedom of Kenyans.

He said that the social, economic and political challenges facing the country are as a result of UhuRuto’s misrule.

“There is nowhere to hide for Jubilee this time round because their goose has already been cooked,” he added.

Meanwhile, Kibwana wants IEBC to guarantee Kenyans fair polls. The governor warns the Wafula Chebukati led commission against being swayed by the executive as the country heads to the polls.
