Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi has insisted that ODM party leader Raila Odinga is the best candidate the National Super Alliance (NASA) can front to square it out with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto in the forthcoming general polls. According to Kingi, Raila not only has the qualities of leading this nation but also enjoys massive support from the electorate. Kingi, who was speaking in Kibarani ward during a tour of development projects on Monday, exuded confidence that Raila will give UhuRuto a run for their money if named the NASA presidential candidate.The county boss, who has been a strong supporter of the opposition leader, said recent opinion polls show that Raila is the best opposition leaders to contest for Presidency. “Even if we go by the recent polls, Odinga is always at the top among the other three principals. This is a clear indication that he has the majority support and hence best fit to battle with President Uhuru Kenyatta,” said Kingi, as quoted by The Star.Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Moses Wetang’ula (Ford Kenya) and Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) have also insisted that they can unseat Uhuru if given the chance.
