Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has said that Cord Leader Raila Amolo Odinga is using Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto to tame his fellow co-principals in the National Super Alliance (NASA) ahead of the August general polls.
According to Ngunyi, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula, Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi and Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka were conspiring against him as he seeks to rise to power in the forthcoming general polls.
“Raila discovered that Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula were conspiring against him,” Mr Nyunyi said in his weekly update on Youtube. Ngunyi, who is known for his theory the tyranny of numbers, also said that Raila wants to reduce the influence of his fellow co-principal as he waits to be named NASA flag bearer this week.
“The more the NASA principals, the stronger Raila becomes — and the weaker Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula become,” he added.
The entry of Ruto into NASA has shifted the political situation in this nation as head to the next general polls. The county boss now NASA co-principal has insisted that he will deliver more than 1.5 Million votes to the opposition when that time comes.
