National Super Alliance (NASA) Leader Raila Amolo Odinga has said that the journey to liberate Kenya from poor governance is unstoppable.

Speaking outside the Supreme Court, Raila said that he is happy and proud of the ruling made by the court following his petition over the general election.

This comes after Chief Justice David Maraga, his deputy Philomena Mwilu, Judges Jackton Ojwang’, Mohammed Ibrahim, Smokin Wanjala, Njoki Ndung’u and Isaac Lenaola  agreed that the nation goes back to another election in 60 days

“This is a triumph for the people of Kenya, and we said at the beginning that our journey to Canaan was on unstoppable. On the 8th of August, we crossed the River Jordan. We have reached the city of Jericho, we are marching on to the city of Jerusalem, and we shall get there. As has been said by my other colleagues, we do not have faith in the electoral commission as it is currently constituted.

On his part, Kalonzo said that he is a happy man following the ruling of the court, adding that electoral commission needs re-examination.

“You can see the openness with which these proceedings were conducted. Therefore, am happy to be a Kenyan today and I call to my brother that will have to as senior counsel has just said will have to deeply look into the conduct of the electoral commission," he said.
