NASA Presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga has scoffed at the Jubilee government, blaming it for the extrajudicial killings witnessed in the Coast region and other parts of the country.

Addressing Muslims at Serani grounds in Mombasa on Friday, Raila said the Jubilee government has left many families in the Coast region in pain after their loved ones were killed under unclear circumstances. He accused the Jubilee administration of failing to implement the Constitution despite promising Kenyans to do so.He said most of the killings and forced disappearances witnessed in the region have left many families without bread winners.“Our security forces are acting like Al-Shabaab covering their faces and executing locals in cold blood. Who is killings us, the terrorists or the security forces?” asked Raila. He said residents in the Coast region have no reason to vote for Jubilee as it has done nothing to improve their living standards.“We all know who has grabbed land and left you squatters. Do you need him back in office after the August8 polls?” asked Raila. He told the Muslim community and the entire Coast region community that only NASA has the plan and zeal to implement the TJRC report so that all Kenyans can get justice. His sentiments were echoed by his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka who asked locals to keep off Jubilee and support NASA.Kalonzo said it was unlawful for the government to put the official government seal on maize flour and sell it to Kenyans, adding that any good that is branded GOK should be supplied free.“Our government has turned into a miller. This is a shameful government and we should all unite and ensure we send it home,” added Kalonzo.
