Mboko claims that Omar’s recent attack on NASA leaders is a sign of desperation after unsuccessfully contesting the Mombasa governor seat.

According to the ODM MP, Omar has no right to criticize the ‘hands’ that helped him win the senatorial seat in the 2013 general election.

“Omar should have respect for Raila and Kalonzo and stop treating them like his age mates because they are the people who made him who he is today,” she said as quoted by the People Daily.

The MP said that Omar’s claim that Raila and Kalonzo are unfocused leaders is false, adding that the former senator might be being used by NASA competitors to attack the opposition.

Mboko asked Omar to fight his petition in court and stop dragging Raila and Kalonzo into his failures.

On Monday, Omar claimed that his political dreams were thwarted by Odinga and Kalonzo.

In a press briefing in Mombasa, the former senator said that Odinga and Musyoka openly supported Governor Hassan Joho.

Omar who resigned as Wiper party secretary general last week said that he will not vote for Odinga in the repeat presidential election slated for October 17.

The former senator said that Odinga and Musyoka are not trustworthy and are allegedly undermining young politicians in opposition.

Omar who unsuccessfully contested for the governor set has filed a petition in court challenging Governor Joho’s re-election.
