Cord co-principals  Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka have condemned the attempt to disrupt Raila’s meeting during Nakuru visit on Saturday.

"Each and every Kenyan has a right to enjoy their democratic rights anywhere in the country. I have no problem with the communities in Rift Valley and Ngunjiri's utterances that a certain community should leave Nakuru should be condemned by every Kenyan," Raila said during his tour of Bomet county when he addressed a congregation in Ndanai Catholic Church, on Sunday.

Speaking separately attending Sunday service at the Baptist Church, Ngong road in Nairobi county where he was accompanied by Senator Judith Sijeny and Daniel Maanzo and the Wiper officials from Nairobi branch, co-principal and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka also condemned the chaos saying "the acts amounts to ethnic profiling".

The former vice-president said the constitution allows leaders to traverse across the country and sell their agenda freely to the people of Kenya.

He said utterances by Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri that Luos should leave Nakuru amounts to hate speech and should be condemned by every Kenyan.

"Arrest MP Ngunjiri forthwith and prosecute him in court of law for his reckless actions," Kalonzo said.

Early on Sunday, Police said they are investigating Bahati MP utterances that members of the “Luo community should leave Nakuru county.” "

The MP spoke to a crowd after Raila held a political rally at Mkarafuu ground, Kaptembwa in the outskirts of Nakuru town on Saturday evening.

Police officers were forced to shoot in the air to disperse Jubilee supporters who wanted to interfere with Raila meeting in a hotel in Kiamunyi.

The youths mostly boda-boda riders carried placards and demanded that the Cord leader leaves the town immediately.

Sources says the youth were led by three MCAs and Bahati Mp Kimani Ngunjiri.
